Sedang mencari beasiswa D3 kebidanan? DKT Indonesia bersama Pusat IBI kembali menyediakan beasiswa kebidanan 2013 melalui program Akademi Andalan. Beasiswa ini diberikan bagi 12 mahasiswi kebidanan berprestasi dalam bentuk dukungan biaya pendidikan. Masing-masing beasiswa diberikan sebesar US$ 1.000.

Tidak hanya dukungan biaya pendidikan, penerima beasiswa juga memperoleh peningkatan keterampilan non-teknis yang mendukung profesi kebidanan, seperti social entrepreneurship, management skill, dan yang lain.

Persyaratan:
1. Calon peserta pengirim aplikasi adalah mahasiswi program studi kebidanan dengan tingkat strata D3
2. Setiap calon peserta adalah mahasiswi program studi kebidanan yang telah mengikuti perkuliahan di akademi kebidanan bersangkutan selama 4 semester atau sekurang-kurangnya telah mendapatkan kartu hasil kuliah semester 3 di kampusnya dan sedang mengikuti perkuliahan di semester 4
3. Jumlah perkuliahan yang telah diikuti selama 4 semester harus dilakukan di kampus yang sama dan bukan berstatus mahasiswa pindahan
4. Domisili calon peserta adalah wilayah Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia dan merupakan Warga Negara Indonesia
5. Calon peserta pengirim aplikasi memiliki IPK minimal 3.0
6.. Calon peserta pengirim aplikasi masih aktif mengikuti perkuliahan dan tidak sedang menjalani cuti kuliah

Pengiriman aplikasi:
1. Registrasi calon peserta Akademi Andalan 2013 hanya dapat dilakukan secara online melalui website www.akademi-andalan.com
2. Periode pendaftaran peserta Akademi Andalan 2013 adalah 1 Juni 2013 pukul 00.00 WIB hingga 30 Agustus 2013 pukul 00.00 WIB disesuaikan dengan perhitungan Waktu Indonesia Barat
3. Pada akhir periode pendaftaran otomatis sistem program formulir pendaftaran akan tertutup dan tidak bisa diakses
4. Form registrasi online harus diisi lengkap, sistem pada form registrasi online tidak akan bisa terkirim apabila terdapat kolom pada form yang disediakan tidak terisi secara lengkap
5. Setiap calon peserta Akademi Andalan 2013 hanya diperbolehkan melakukan satu kali registrasi

Penilaian aplikasi:
1. Penilaian aplikasi yang telah masuk akan dilakukan oleh tim gabungan yang terdiri dari tim DKT Indonesia, Alat Kontrasepsi Andalan dan PP IBI
2. Tim penilai berhak menggugurkan calon peserta apabila persyaratan utama yang berkaitan dengan persyaratan pra aplikasi dan pengiriman aplikasi tidak terpenuhi, misal: IPK yang tidak mencapai 3.00 atau melewati batas pengiriman aplikasi
3. Penilaian akan meliputi beberapa hal:
    a. Kelengkapan dan ketepatan data pada persyaratan pra-aplikasi
    b. Ketepatan waktu pengiriman aplikasi
    c. Jawaban pertanyaan terbuka yang terdapat pada lembar aplikasi
    d. Essay wajib dengan pilihan tema:
        ~ Peranan bidan dalam mengurangi angka kematian ibu
        ~ Strategi peningkatan penggunaan kontrasepsi jangka panjang untuk akseptor
        ~ Prinsip kewirausahaan dan implementasinya dalam konteks kode etik kebidanan
        ~ Tantangan profesi kebidanan versus peraturan dan perundangan yang berlaku

Pengumuman pemenang:

1. Pengumuman pemenang akan dilakukan secara online di website Akademi Andalan pada tanggal 30 September 2013
2. Dewan juri akan memilih 12 orang pemenang Akademi Andalan yang akan berhak mendapatkan hadiah beasiswa Akademi Andalan 2013
3. 12 orang pemenang terpilih harus mengirimkan dokumen yang telah dilegalisir dan dibutuhkan sesuai dengan permintaan dari penyelenggara
4. 12 orang pemenang akan segera dihubungi oleh kantor pusat DKT Indonesia di Jakarta melalui telepon untuk melakukan konfirmasi keikutsertaan dan kesediaan*
5. Jumlah beasiswa yang akan diberikan adalah sejumlah US$ 1.000 untuk masing-masing penerima beasiswa Akademi Andalan 2013
6. Kedua belas pemenang beasiswa Akademi Andalan berkesempatan untuk datang ke Jakarta pada waktu yang telah ditentukan oleh DKT Indonesia
7. DKT Indonesia akan memfasilitasi akomodasi dan transportasi dari daerah masing-masing menuju Jakarta (pulang pergi) hanya untuk pemenang dan tidak dapat diuangkan
8. Pemenang terpilih tidak dapat diwakilkan atau dipindahkan kepada orang lain
9. Pihak penyelenggara dapat membatalkan secara sepihak apabila peserta menyalahi aturan yang telah ditetapkan

Selection Criteria
Winning applicants for The Distance Learner Online MPH Scholarship are selected based upon the overall merit of their registration and the quality of their scholarship essay. Financial need is not a consideration. The winners of the scholarships will be chosen by the administrative staff of OnlineMPHDegree.net, based upon the overall merit of their registration.
One half of the weight of the judging will be from the formal registration, and one half will come from the written essay portion. Additional considered criteria are:
  • GPA (min 2.75 on a 4.0 scale)
  • Extra-curricular activities
  • Employment history

The criteria considered in the written essay is your ability to write a strong answer that directly answers the public health-related question, and gives insights based upon facts to support any claims you make.

Foreign Students: Students located outside of the United States must be enrolled in a program before being considered.

Essay Question
The 500-800 word essay for the 2013 The Distance Learner Online MPH Scholarship will ask the MPH candidate to address the following:
  • What led you to choose public health as an area of study and how you hope to contribute to this field upon graduation from your school/program?
Announcing the Winner
The winners of the 2013 Distance Learner MPH Scholarship shall be notified by email and regular mail within thirty days of the application deadline. After winners are chosen, the candidates will be requested to provide transcripts from their most recent college or university to verify their GPA. If the candidate cannot provide this documentation, or if the GPA is different from the GPA that was claimed on the application, OnlineMPHDegree.net reserves the right to revoke the scholarship and give it to another deserving applicant.
The scholarship award needs to be paid in one full, $1000 payment by check directly to a qualifying MPH educational program, such as a four-year university. The award must be paid within six months of notification to the winner.
The scholarship recipients’ name, city and state will be posted on OnlineMPHDegree.net on a page of the website.
Official Rules
MPH candidates who are interested must submit the formal registration and essay. The essay is 500-800 words, typed in a Word document on 8.5 x 11” paper, with standard margins and size 12 font.
Only graduate-level students will be considered for this scholarship: Bachelor’s degree and doctoral degree candidates do not qualify. Letters of recommendation are not required and are not accepted.
Any applications that have any false information or plagiarized essays are disqualified immediately. All essays have to be completely original, and must be the sole work of the applicant. All of the application essays and their rights to publishing are the intellectual and real property of OnlineMPHDegree.net.

Rebut! Beasiswa Kepri 2013, Tersedia 1.300 Kuota

Beruntung bagi Anda yang berstatus warga Provinsi Kepulauan Riau. Pemprov Kepri pada 2013 menyediakan beasiswa bagi mahasiswa asal daerahnya. Sebanyak 1.300 kuota beasiswa disediakan tahun ini, meliputi beasiswa diploma: 160 penerima, beasiswa S1: 1.000 penerima, beasiswa S2: 100 penerima, beasiswa S3: 25 penerima, dan beasiswa kedokteran: 15 penerima.

Rinciannya, para penerima beasiswa diploma akan memperoleh bantuan biaya pendidikan sebesar 2 juta, beasiswa S1 sebesar Rp 2,5 juta, beasiswa S2 sejumlah Rp 5 juta, beasiswa S3 sebesar Rp 10 juta, dan beasiswa kedokteran masing-masing Rp 7 juta.

Menariknya, beasiswa Kepri 2013 tidak hanya membuka kesempatan beasiswa ini bagi mahasiswa berprestasi, tapi juga buat mereka dari keluarga tidak mampu. Pendaftaran dibuka hingga akhir Mei 2013 untuk gelombang 1 (semester genap).

Persyaratan umum:
a. Bantuan Biaya Pendidikan terdiri dari dua kategori :
a.1. Bantuan Biaya Pendidikan untuk mahasiswa yang berprestasi.
a.2. Bantuan Biaya Pendidikan untuk mahasiswa yang tidak mampu.
b. Permohonan bantuan biaya pendidikan dibuat dalam bentuk proposal dan dijilid rapi yang ditujukan kepada Gubernur Provinsi Kepulauan Riau melalui Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Kepulauan Riau dengan menyebutkan jalur yang dipilih.
c. Proposal bantuan biaya pendidikan diajukan atas nama pribadi bukan atas nama organisasi.
d. Melampirkan fotocopy Kartu Tanda Mahasiswa yang masih berlaku.
e. Melampirkan fotocopy Kartu Keluarga (Provinsi Kepulauan Riau).
f. Melampirkan fotocopy Kartu Tanda Penduduk (Provinsi Kepulauan Riau).
g. Melampirkan surat keterangan aktif kuliah dari Perguruan Tinggi Tahun 2013 (asli atau dilegalisir).
h. Melampirkan fotocopy Kartu Hasil Studi (KHS)/Transkip Nilai Semester Ganjil Tahun 2013 yang dilegalisir oleh pejabat yang berwenang dilingkungan perguruan tinggi mahasiswa yang bersangkutan.

The Theoretical Chemistry and Computational Modelling (TCCM) Master is an initiative of 47 european institutions from 8 different European countries that aims to:
  • Establish a European standard for research-oriented studies in TCCM.
  • Prepare experts in the use and development of computational techniques in molecular sciences, to work with innovative pharmaceutical, petrochemical and new-materials industries.
  • Prepare students for doctoral studies in Chemistry, Physics, Life or Material Sciences.
  • Promote international mobility of research students.
  • Offer to students from a wide range of countries (including non-European ones) a highly qualified title at the post-bachelor level.

The master can be accessed by students having a Bachelor in Chemistry, in Physics or in Material Science or any equivalent level if authorized by the legislation of the corresponding European Country. Other scientific bachelors can be accepted, provided the student takes complementary levelling courses, under the supervision of his local Tutor.

Structure:
The TCCM European Master is spread over two years and corresponds to 120 ECTS credits.

  1. The first year (M1) will be taken at the student’s home Institution, and will be devoted to providing the student with a background in Theoretical Chemistry and Computational Modelling as well as in advanced aspects within the different areas of Chemistry. In the first year the student must attend courses and pass related exams for 60 ECTS credits. These courses will provide the student with the background necessary to follow the second year of the Master, which has a marked International research character.
  2. The second year (M2), mostly international, is devoted to courses and research activity in advanced aspects of Theoretical Chemistry and Computational Modelling as well as in their applications to the most important fields of modern Chemistry, Material Science and Biology. For this purpose all students will take, compulsorily, a four-week Intensive Course that will be followed by 10 weeks of tutorial work in the home Institution up to complete 30 ECTS credits. The second part of M2 will be devoted to an introduction to research, equivalent to 30 ECTS credits. Part of this research activity has to be carried out abroad, in a host Institution of the Consortium of a country different from that of the home Institution. For this purpose, each student will undertake a research project, under the supervision of a local Tutor, and in close collaboration with his tutor at the host Institution. The Master will end with the defence of a Master Thesis.

Teaching language:
The official language of the master is English but the institution has the option to choice the language of the lessons because the students have to learn a second European language.

    Institutions from Toulouse, Porto and Perugia.
  • Lessons in English
    Institutions from: Groningen, Leuven, Madrid and Valencia.

Erasmus Mundus is a cooperation and mobility programme in the field of higher education that aims to enhance the quality of European higher education and to promote dialogue and understanding between people and cultures through cooperation with Third-Countries. In addition, it contributes to the development of human resources and the international cooperation capacity of Higher education institutions in Third Countries by increasing mobility between the European Union and these countries.

Erasmus Mundus scholarships to perform Master studies in TCCM will be available annually for Third Country (category A scholarships) and European students (category B scholarships). Both types of grants cover tuition fees of the awardees and category A grants include also an insurance for the two years of the Master. Students will receive a monthly payment amounting, per year, to 6000 € for European students and 12000 € for Third Country* students, who will be also supported for travelling from the origin country and installation in the destination.

Please take into account this minimum requirements to apply for an Erasmus Mundus scholarship:

  • Any student are allowed to apply for a EM scholarship to a maximum of 3 different Master or Doctoral joint programmes.
  • Third Country students who have been residents or have carried out their main activity (studies, training or work) in any of the EU or EEA member states for more than a total of 12 months over the last 5 years (prior to the 28th of February 2012) are not allowed to apply for a category A scholarship. They could instead be selected for a category B scholarship.
  • Students who have already been awarded with an Erasmus Mundus (Action 1) grant can not apply. Students who have been Erasmus along their Bachelor degree, are allowed to apply.

WHO CAN APPLY?
The requirements to be accepted in the TCCM Master are:

  • Bachelor in Chemistry, Physics or Material Science,1 or any equivalent level if authorized by the legislation of the corresponding European Country. Other scientific bachelors can be accepted, provided the student takes complementary levelling courses, under the supervision of his/her local Tutor.
  • Internationally recognized English proficiency certificate equivalent to a TOEFL score of at least 213/500, 65/120 or 513/677, an IELTS score of at least 6, First Cambridge Certificate or B2.

The same criteria apply to students coming from European and from third countries.
For students coming from third countries or having a Bachelor different from those mentioned above, the possession of the following (or equivalent) subjects at the level of the Chemistry Eurobachelor needs to be certified:

Chemical Bonding, Atomic and Molecular Structure and Intermolecular Interactions, General Physics, Mathematics, General Physical Chemistry, Thermodynamics and Kinetics, Spectroscopy.
Some deficiencies may be remedied through the levelling course. However, if there are deficiencies in more than two of the aforementioned areas, the applicant will not be accepted.

HOW TO APPLY
Interested students should fill and submit the corresponding on-line application form that will be published each year in the web page of the Master, for both Category A and B Erasmus Mundus scholarships (Third Country and European students). The required supporting documentation shall be sent by electronic mail to emtccm@uam.es

The admission of students and selection of Erasmus Mundus Scholarship holders is carried out by the TCCM International Committee. The evaluation is made according to the information provided in the application form, supported by the following documents:

  1. A letter of motivation
  2. A CV, including full academic information (degree, matters studied indicating the marks obtained, level of English and all the information the applicant may consider relevant).
  3. An English transcription of the academic record (and a document describing the subjects studied in the university degree and the marks obtained, with special attention on the ones listed above, for Bachelors not awarded in Europe or different from Physics, Chemistry or Materials Science).
  4. English transcription of the degree certificates to be considered(1).
  5. An internationally recognized English level test.
  6. A copy of your whole passport, all the pages from the beginning to the end. If your passport doesn’t contain the information regarding the last five years, you have to send also a copy of your previuos passport (it’s no valid any other document like ID card or birth certificate).
  7. A letter on the conformity with the call guidelines (template to be provided)
  8. The names, address and electronic mail of 2 Professors/researchers who may be contacted for references
  9. All students must enroll at one of the seven Universities in the TCCM Consortium:
    1. AUTONOMOUS UNIVERSITY OF MADRID, Spain (Co-ordinating institution)
    2. UNIVERSITY OF VALENCIA, Spain
    3. UNIVERSITY OF GRONINGEN, Netherlands
    4. CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY OF LEUVEN, Belgium
    5. UNIVERSITY OF PERUGIA, Italy
    6. UNIVERSITY PAUL SABATIER, TOULOUSE III, France
    7. UNIVERSITY OF PORTO, Portugal

Hence they must provide a list with their preferences rating a minimum of four of them, from 1 (top preference) to 4 (lowest preference).

All this information should be sent electronically to the Coordinator of the Master (emtccm@uam.es) before January 31st for both, Third Country and EU-EEA students, according to the procedure established for each call in the web page of the Master.

Please note that if the applicant is admitted in the Master, he/she will need to provide mandatorily, the corresponding certified copies of the academic record and degree certificates (legalized accordingly with the applicable legislation between the origin and host country) and English proficiency certificate.

SELECTION PROCESS
The steps of the selection processs are the following:

  1. Sending of the application form and documentation.
  2. After deadline, the International Commitee scores the applications according with the background, merits etc.
  3. They make a list with the scores, from the highest to the lowest score .
  4. From this list are selected the aspirants for the scholarships.
  5. Their refeeres are contacted to record more information about the corresponding aspirant.
  6. The selected aspirants for the scholarships are contacted in order to make an appointment for a meeting through skype, phone or by other means.

1Students in the last year of any of these Bachelor studies can apply. However, they will be definitely accepted only if they successfully finish their Bachelor studies before the 1st of September of the Academic Year in which they wish to start the Master Courses
